Jack founded Sumz and built it into a CPA-led firm that runs accounting for growing companies and automates the work behind it. A licensed CPA who also holds the CISSP information-security certification, he architects the firm’s AI-powered systems himself — the same systems that turn multi-week closes into hours. Earlier in his career he co-founded and exited a multi-location retail establishment and spent years in internal audit and financial controls at FIS Global and CNH Industrial. He holds a Master of Accounting from the University of Miami. Outside the firm, Jack is a former Ironman triathlete turned marathoner (2:37 PR) — and when he’s not running, he’s with his wife and their dog.
Luca leads advisory and transaction work at Sumz. He came up at Berkeley Research Group, where he completed 45+ financial due diligence and quality-of-earnings engagements across buy-side and sell-side deals — from owner-operated businesses to companies north of $500M in revenue, including multi-location healthcare roll-ups. He brings institutional rigor to forecasting, financial strategy, and getting a company’s numbers investment- and acquisition-ready.
Elvie holds a degree in accounting and has served international accounting clients’ needs for over a decade. She runs day-to-day accounting operations across Sumz engagements — keeping closes, reconciliations, and client deliverables on schedule and to standard. She leads the firm’s global delivery capacity and is the operational backbone clients count on month after month: organized, exacting, and relentless about quality as the firm scales.
